    Time

Conversely sometimes it’s worthwhile to just see the view and not shoot. Distraction of the camera

    Hi from India

Hi Somnath! Good to have you onboard! Are you accessing this site from India as when I was trying to do the same it was not allowing me to. I had to use a UK VPN to be able to access.

    Vintage fashion

Agreed it’s not the best footwear for this dress but that’s what we had. We do see quite a bit of this similar style in Brighton though. Looks very cool and is easy on the feet. I just noticed that. Need to get back at the cloning work. I will try out this style too. Thanks for the critique.

Thanks Simon. I will post up a normal version after I scramble to shoot some auroras tonight.

    Massive aurora alert for tonight!

Would these be visible in Brighton tonight? I am considering travelling for that.

Thanks! I do want to get into film actually. Need to find a Nikon film camera that is closest to the D750.

    High contrast look

This was more to learn processing to achieve a high contrast look. Started with a monochrome preset and then played with the sliders. After that used a brush to selectively lighten the skin. CnC welcome. Thanks for looking.

    Vintage fashion

Thanks Alan! To be honest I have only shot with film on a point and shoot years back and have no idea on how different films look. I started off with a vintage preset in LR and then desaturated the colours a bit, and then added some grain while viewing at 100% zoom. That’s it really. Bright...
