I'm sure it's got worse, never used to be like this and I absolutely love(d) the lens. And these flares are always big and ugly not like good looking ones and it's always red. I'll have to hold on and see if these GM rumours turn out to be true.
On a side note, loving the 35 GM I picked up...
I swear it was never this bad when I got it, and I shoot a lot of backlit subjects (when the sun is out!) and this on at least 15 photos all in different environment from an engagement session last night and I've also noticed it before this.
Hood is always on, I've wanted to replace this lens...
New Sigma 50mm 1.2 looks good, I'll be in the market for a 50 in the next few months and was going to get the 50mm 1.4 GM but this make the decision harder. That said although the Sigma lenses look well built, they look beat up VERY quickly and I can't do MF on my 85mm for some reason.
This is exactly how I felt, I loved the ZVE10 (had the new realtime tracking too, my first camera that did) but the AutoISO was a big annoyance for me. But the AF kept up with my lad whilst on holiday and was relatively impressed with the 45 1.8 for what it is. Now I don't have a "family camera"...
Have they put Auto ISO with minimum shutter on the A6700. I had a ZVE10 with the Samyang 45mm and I loved it except the lack of minimum shutter in Auto ISO.
