Cleaning dust from w/in the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/…:

I've just done mine - been dreading it for a while but it took me literally 5 mins and couldn't have been easier.

I don't mind doing this once every 6 months for this lens...also bear in mind that if you are buying one used then dist inside the first element is trivial to fix so a good bargaining point ;-)
