Off to Nice in 2 weeks for a couple of days, any sights that are a must see in the city....
I will not have transport but happy to walk.
 
Walk the promenade from one end to the other fantastic architecture and great for street shooting as well, takes about 2 hours and well worth it.
 
It's a lovely place, my favourites.

The narrow streets of the old town.
Market, typically French, colourful and lots to see.
The park above the town, great views along the coast

Have a good trip.

... and when you walk the promenade watch where you put you feet.

People walk their small dogs there and don't seem inclined to clean up after them.

The promenade is worth doing, and the parc du chateau has a panoramic view of both the beach/promenade and the port on the other side.
And of course there is the old town.
 
I'm staying at the Hyatt (at the Port end of the promanade) & I'm also only 10mins walk from the port so those 2 will get me started... The old town sounds interesting, sounds like I might have to get my 14-24 a bit sooner - lol...
