I've just received a commission for calendar photos of Symond's Yat and the Wye Valley. I know about the Symond's Yat Rock viewpoint, but I'm not really familiar with the Wye Valley itself. I think the client really wants shots of the river and autumn foliage, though any general scenics will do. Does anyone have any favourite locations in the lower Wye Valley near Symond's Yat? Before anyone suggests Shothotspot, I've just checked there, am just hoping for some personal recommendations from someone who knows the area better than I do.
