    Lamborghini

I've just reprocessed this image from a while ago following some constructive critique I received on it a while back. I'd welcome any further comments, particularly from the point of view of exposure levels and my attempt at colour grading. My original photo was under exposed, which I think...

    Overzealous Security

I respect your opinion Gramps but it's not like he can react any less favourably than he already had done with me. If nothing else, at least he might refrain from telling people they can't take photos of the buildings even from public space which is what he was telling me. If he's only doing...

    Overzealous Security

I wouldn't go as far as to say I behaved like a prat.... Which part do you think is prat like..? Taking a photo of him from a public place..? Given that I'd already given him the benefit of the doubt and left him alone.. until he decided to be a stickler for rules that I'm sure weren't put in...

    Overzealous Security

The building shot was taken a couple of hours before, but I've been struggling with getting right exposure levels recently so maybe I'll revisit that one.

Image contrast levels on different devices - Can I have your opinion please ?

Thanks Don.... Photography is purely a hobby to me and I get satisfaction and enjoyment from the whole process from start to finish, but only if I feel like I've done a good enough job, so the problem can be that if I'm seeing significantly differing end results depending where I view it, that...

Image contrast levels on different devices - Can I have your opinion please ?

Thanks... That's an interesting measure between a calibrated screen and ipad brightness. I read suggestions online as high as 80% but started myself at 70% but lately have gone down to 55% and 50%. I'll give 40% a try and see how I get on.

Image contrast levels on different devices - Can I have your opinion please ?

Thanks for the response... I don't have an "ultra contrasty" style that I'm trying to achieve but I do want a certain amount of contrast and in this instance so that the subject stands out a little bit from the background. This wasn't actually an overcast day, it was a clear and slightly frosty...

Image contrast levels on different devices - Can I have your opinion please ?

From what I've read online it appears that the ipad pro screen is supposed to be pretty accurate straight out of the box.

Image contrast levels on different devices - Can I have your opinion please ?

Thanks for the reply... And yes I'm coming to the conclusion that the ipad screen is almost too good/bright/contrasty etc. I've tried different brightness settings and now leaning towards setting it at 50 percent. I find it confusing because so many photographers now seem to really rate the...
