I'm a fairly experienced photographer, shooting (or trying too) everything from microscopic samples to stars.
I have a pretty good grounding in the workings of optics (my work includes spectroscopy) & both my parents were artists so I SHOULD have a good eye for composition too. Despite playing with computers in the past (building several) I admit to rather minimal post processing knowledge. I don't use Photoshop / Lightroom and in reality don't push the limits of the free software I do use :)
