Last Sunday I nipped down to Morecambe for an hour or so, for a few high tide Long Exposure shots

I doubt I moved more than 15 yrds for these; and only 50 yards from where I parked!

If you fancy it, this slipway is used by the RNLI and the Car Park is on Marine Road, best postcode is LA4 5BY; let me know and I'll meet for a shoot/pint if I'm free

This was an unusually high tide at over 9m, so you may have to wait a while

They are all either 90 or 120 second exposures, and yes, in that last one the Gull stayed perfectly still for 2 mins! Bless lol

Nicely executed long exposures. The sea looks a bit muddy in the colour shots so I prefer the monos. 6 is better than 3 with the separation between the sticky-up bit and the rocks. You might want to try some of the Lightroom horizon removal shenanigans to add to the mystery of #6.

Cheers for the comments

The sea looks muddy cos its basically brown here lol; and funnily enough in my latest set (which I'm editing now) I am trying out if the horizon removal helps :)

Really like these! I've done some long exposure sea stuff, I really like the effect. I do want to head up that way at some point so I'm try & remember to drop you a line beforehand :)

That'd be good :)

I hope this doesn't break the rules, but I did some Long Exposures this week at Heysham, near Morecambe. Its a bit pretty much ALL the locals ignore but which turned out great I think

I'll PM you the link so you can see what I mean
