Whilst in boxing and MMA the idea is to win, preferably by a knockout. The skill is in moving your position to avoid the hit. With this latest fad all you do is stand there and get slapped. Tell me where is the skill in that? So yes they are very different. Mind you, you think Musk is a good manager, so I suspect your judgement may be a bit off.

I watch all types of MMA/Boxing, I don't mind a little controlled violence, but I can't watch this ... In every other 'combat sport' if you can call Slap a sport!? - each contestant is trained to defend as much as attack. Imagine kick boxing if it was turn based? Free kicks to the face every turn!
