Having completed 39 sessions of radiotherapy yesterday (see my profile), with too many of the possible side effects, I have become quite frustrated at not having the energy to do much photography. So, what could I do that meant I did not have to go too far and could easily rest if I got tired...
Recently managed to get out for a couple of hours on two separate afternoons down to the local Butterfly Conservation reserve at Snakeholme Pit. There is a wide variety of insect life down there and the trips were quite rewarding.

Not able to do much at the moment due to ongoing treatment at hospital, but last week could not resist the challenge when we heard that the Marsh Fritiltaries and Dingy Skippers had been seen locally. Was very surprised that they were there as it has been so cold and very few other butterflies...
