I dont post too many zebra images from my safaris as im more focused with heading to see the big cats. However, sometimes I come across an interesting composition thats worth a frame or two and make a point to stop.

Managed to get a nice angle on this lioness. A few distracting elements but it still takes me back to the moment.

This chap was quite happy to offer a ride in exchange for some free tick removal by the ox pickers. They do however also up wounds which isnt such a good thing.
I got a few shots with the birds in flight as well, could have done with a brighter day had to push the iso.

Going through my old giraffe safari files and came across this one with a mum and daughter. Quite happy with the angle and lighting which is often an issue with giraffe portraits.

I noticed a lot of commotion within the group. Fights kept on braking out started by one elephant. You will notice it trunk is damaged, it actually leaks quite a bit and must be causing major pain which likely translated into more aggressive behavior hence the fights.

A solo male wondering around the savanna. Don't actually see this too often, he looked quite healthy as well.

I got a few shots of this lion coming through the grass. It ended up being one of my favorite sets even though my first look at the thumbnails they didnt stand out as much as a more formal poses. Its easy to see how lions stay camouflaged amongst the dry grass.
