This is not a great image, the light was poor, I had a sigma 17-70 f2.8-4.5 EF APSC Lens mount on my Canon R7 which only likes Canon EF or RF glass, and dislikes third party lenses !
Thanks Canon !
Plus the ISO is 10,000, and I did have the shutter speed very high, it should have been no more...
Hi everyone!
I'm new to the forum and photography and as expected I have a lot of questions that I thought would be better to ask in one thread rather than opening a lot at the same time. I have read a lot about the basics, aperture, shutter speed, ISO and their relationship but right now I'm...
This has been verified by me with EF bodies from 2003 EOS 10D up to 2015 EOS 5Ds R.
RF bodies like the 2020 EOS R5 & 2022 EOS R7 may have this. Owners may want to verify.
To reduce whatever ISO noise Canon has a weird ISO increments of every ISO 160.
So ISO
- 160
- 320
- 640
- 1250
- 2500

Hello guys :)
Taking it simple, is there a way to use AUTO ISO on Nikon D750 with flash trigger (godox x2t) mounted.
From my experience, no matter what trigger mode, auto iso set on camera - doesn't work, and camera uses the lowest value of auto iso set, so we end up with manual iso.
Why I...
Hi all,
When taking photographs of office interiors for my company I often have trouble in late afternoon/evening when the light is low (sometimes that's the only time we have access to the building). At the moment I rely on putting up the ISO, but it makes my photographs looks grainy.
Can...

Hello,
I wonder if anyone can help me as I am a beginner on film.
I am using a Canon A1 with a 35-70mm lens and have just bought some Kodak Portra 400.
I will be shooting indoors in a well lit room with neon lights. I have set my ISO to 400 to match the film but does anyone know what the...
Hope you dont mind me asking as I have seen this mentioned previously in this forum by a few of you.
Ive only used three cameras and getting to know its capabilities I know in low light bumping up ISO past *whatever number* i'll get home and see noise on my screen. To be honest pee's me right...
Help... I'm on holiday and haven't used my camera for some time & whilst checking my settings I failed to notice my iso was set to iso 1250. It's been bright & sunny, didn't think iso was why shutter speeds were so high!
Still have time to take further pictures with correct iso, thankfully and...
