Well this is the latest in a year so far that I've used my MPE-65mm outdoors on some bugs.

First a Red Spider mite - 4 shots stacked in Helicon Focus

A new to me springtail - I think Allacma fusca - found on a post.

A complete unknown bug.

A yellow bug - probably some kind of aphid I guess.

A barkfly around 4x magnification

And finally a hopper.

And who said they all go to sleep come the colder weather.
All fantastic, that spider mite is really nice, ive never seen one stay still long enough to take 1 shot let alone 4.
For me the springtail is the best.

Thanks graham. It was a warmer autumn so maybe that's why there were some out. Though to be honest I have never looked this late on for bugs.

Yes got lucky with the mite being still.[emoji1]

Very nice set Chris
Well done on the Spider mite and the springtail.

clap hands from me. Assured and so pleasurable focus/bokeh play. Difficult for me the choice.....maybe n.5, for its particular composition.
All the best,
sandro
