Horrible thing, it looks more like a hunter than a scavenger and I wonder what Darwin would have made of it if he had had your gear and skill

Many thanks Garry, the missus was a bit cross when I showed her as she had fond memories of them as childhood curiosities a close up has made her reconsider.

Cheers David, It was a 37 layer focus stack using fully extended bellows and a reversed 35mm lens set at f8, ISO100 1/200 and a diffused studio strobe overhead.
