I don't remember ever having seen one tbh/
Apparently they are only common in Southern England, which is weird because they seem to be very cold tolerant. I would have guessed that they are happy everywhere in the UK based on their behaviour here.

Yes are right, I am not quite sure how to improve photos from the moth trap - they settle on cardboard boxes and moving them is tricky.
I wonder what would be a good replacement for the egg box? Perhaps I could cover them with something but what?
