Visited Compton Abbas on Saturday with some friends and for this late in the year it was very active.

The Boeing biplane "lives" at Compton, as does the Chipmunk, but I haven't seen the Gypsy Moth or Tiger Moth before. Unfortunately the resident Harvard wasn't flying and was covered up. I was actually up there with my car and a few mates, so the images were a bit "grabby". Nice to see some old stuff fly though.

I didn't realise that Boeing had made small biplanes!

Some good images there, Steve (y) I think they would have benefitted from a slower shutter speed to get some more distinct prop blur.

I've driven past that airfield dozens of times over the years but never called in. I'm told they have a good café :)

The cafe is why we were there, a great place to finish our morning run on the twisty roads of North Dorset & Wiltshire :ROFLMAO:

I can't shoot at low shutter speeds without a tripod unfortunately, due to my hands shaking when I grip the camera.

I know exactly what you mean and have the same problem. Bl00dy annoying, isn't it?
