another attempt at some flies.i think these are better than my last attempt,which i'll put down to hacker for his flash tip that he shared with me...it was still a little breezy today,when is the weather going to settle.

Dunno what flash tip Colin gave you Stan but I would say turn down the flash power as you blown the side out in #2, great eye detail though. I think #1 is really good and defo the best of the bunch closely follow by #3

i'll certainly turn down the power on my next attempt...by how much would you say,or is it a case of experimenting.

I'd agree with Alby Stan ~1 is the best and you need to get some diffusion on the flash in #2

I could'nt get-on with the stofen so i switched to a lambecy like this which worked better for me.

mmmmmm....will persevere with the stofen for now and see how the results go.do they make it for sony flashguns?
