NO....They're not bad at all! Pretty good in fact.

The overall look and feel of them are excellent. A little more DOF in the first would be ideal, but you've nailed the focus point. A bit central for my taste perhaps.

Composition of the second is very good.

Have you thought about toning down the green background a bit? It is a bit "neon."
