Excellent LE Sky Nigel it lovely colour, I do feel it's slightly let down by the foreground composition though.

That's a cracking sky you've captured there, Nigel. I think if you had taken a couple of steps backwards to include more of the foreground it could've been even better!

Thanks guys .. sadly there was even less interest the more I stepped back ... twas a fair windy evening up on Malin .... such a fantastic place and can't wait to go back ....

Love it ! It really captures the mood. Neil mentions the foreground but whilst it's somewhat sparse (for the reason you mentioned) what is good is the right-hand side promontory especially with the surf there.To my eye it's leading into the wonderful sky so makes up for the sparsity of anything worth including of the ground where you stood.

Malin Head. I hear it mentioned on the shipping forecast so I googled it. Off the County Donegal coast,I see.

Indeed .. and added in post rather than forgotten about due to filters ... I've uploaded a comparison showing the RAW file (left) and then the color tint adjusted on the right ... I know many are not fans of colour casts but for me it brings a touch more drama to the scene for my mind more representative to the feeling of that night ..

The original RAW is a truish rendition and looks fine.
