How the hell do you get this close to a very jittery wild animal ? Ive never seen a wild Adder in my life, and I think these are amazing pics.

Love it, you really have it caught it well.
Beautiful creatures and not as aggressive some think unless you provoke them.
Seen loads out and about with my dogs, been bitten once and survived, it's not as bad as it sounds, depends on how the person reacts, in my case
it was a very mild reaction.
They will normally slither way from you before you even see them, in my case it was lazing in a sunny patch in the woods and I trod on the poor thing,
happy to say it survived

As ingrid said they are not aggressive snakes as we are lead to believe if they are treat with respect and you don't stand on them hurt then or upset them at all they don't bother you ?
