Can this site be trusted?

Another thread mentioned a WEYLLAN PH3 MonoGimbal Head, CNC All Metal Side Saddle Gimbal Tilt Head which is approx half the price on this site compared with Amazon. Reviews of AliExpress are not good, but is this a case of being careful with which supplier you choose from their site to avoid being scammed.
 
I bought from Aliexpress with no issues, does the price include tax at checkout and IIRC depending on value(£135??+) may be tax and handling charge upon delivery
 
I've had no issues with AE, either. The items I've purchased have all been small and low-value, such as memory cards.

Yes tax is added but still a lot less than Amazon.
 
Aliexpress is great. I bought plenty. They are a bit like Amazon marketplace so you have have to watch what seller you are buying from and ideally want as close to perfect rating as possible, and a sizable number of ratings.
I must have saved loads over Essential Photo prices

I order loads of smaller items from them almost on a weekly basis. Have only ever had one issue and they refunded straight away,

I find if you always use the suppliers under the choice section everything gets delivered fast within their 7 day time frame and never have any issues. Have ordered a few larger value items as well and had no issues.
