As my Macleays spectre stick insect has reached maturity, I "thought" I'd get a few more photos...
She is usually ok with being out of her home, and she came onto my hand with no fuss, just as usual.
I had set up a nice diorama, and thought the out of focus background would contrast her sharp profile....
As soon as I put her on there, (which was a feat in itself) she refused to move...the black plastic "prodder"
she grabbed and that was that....so please excuse the lack of composition. Those spikes can give a nasty prick is she
gets the hump.
