First this year I have seen, so likely just emerged from the somewhere in the garden.

Until I saw this thread I didn't know what these were called but by a strange coincidence I'm sure one of these is what was one on the wall near our front door earlier today.

Cheers Alan - there are few images of them appearing around various places and social media, so it must be prime time for them to emerge en-masse.

We're just yards from an area with lots of trees and bushes and rough ground so the chances are it didn't have far to come to land on our wall. I'll watch out for more now I know what they are :D What struck me first was the size, quite big I thought, and that it looked like a dead leaf to me.
