Thanks - that's the thing with landscapes - the sky is often a key component of the image - and if the sky isn't doing much, often your image isn't doing much.

On a clear sky day, you will have a boring sky, but nice light - so a tip would be to compose images without the sky at all - in a more intimate/detail focussed style composition

One of my favourite haunts is the beach from Redcar to Saltburn but on most visits the lighting just isn't the best but when it is... and I have a camera with me... Joy

I like the jagged peaks in yours, they remind me of pictures I took at Filey. Nicely done Steve
