Thanks. It was a Sigma 105mm f/2.8 OS HSM macro lens.

Thanks Nige...looking at the shot, the sigma seems like an excellent bit of kit, very sharp indeed.

Nice composition and detail in #1, and I think the colour and plainness of the background work really well. I rather like #2 as well, obviously for different reasons.
