You're welcome. It takes time and lots of practice! I think for me the fact the lens is wide open slightly confuses the eyes. There are too many areas in and out of focus, which I find distracting. Wide open I prefer to focus on one central point that my eyes are naturally drawn to. In this case it would be the two central nearest petals. Otherwise, stop the lens down to circa f11-f16 and allow more of the flower to be in focus.
