It's pollen.
Honey bees (and others) collect pollen, which is a protein, to feed their young (larvae).
When visiting a flower they mix the pollen with a little nectar and place it in their "pollen baskets" (corbicula) found on each of their rear legs.
Then take it back to the hive where it is either fed to the young or stored in the honeycomb cells for future use.
Clever little things aren't they.

Different flowers have different colour pollen and yield at different times of year.
Ivy is a strong orange but it is likely too early for that.
Perhaps lime or poppy.
