Had a walk up a nearby hill. Days like this don't come very often in mid October.

Lovely view. If you went up the forestry track towards the reservoir I did that once and once was enough. I really wished I'd packed the tea tray for the descent

I did go up the new track they put for the hydro scheme, Jan. As I was heading towards the cattle grid at the top of the hill out of Gairloch that track was the best option.
It was the first time going up and as you know it is STEEP. However, I have come down it a few times and I think it is worse coming down than going up.

On a tea tray it would be really scary.
