Hey talkphotography users! I’m looking to sell a brand new Sony Alpha A7 IV Full Frame Mirrorless Camera With Sony 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 Kit and was wondering where would be the best place cheers!

Depends what you're expecting to get for it.

Private sale you'll get the most (normally) and Facebook Marketplace or eBay would be best.

If you just want to sell easily MPB or WEX will buy it off you with a free quote and free delivery to them.

On here would be an option but you'd need be a meaningful member and join in with other photography threads before you'll be allowed to use the Market Place here. And your first post being a come and get me sales post probably won't go down particularly well with the moderators here.

Just about all of the main dealers will buy from you these days. I have used MPB extensively, but of late LCE have bettered them by some margin.

If it's brand new why not return it to the seller and get a full refund rather than take the hit on selling it, or am I being a bit suspicious.?
It could be that the poster is a bit naive. Or not.

Maybe it was bought from a store, I don't think you can return it unless it's faulty unlike buying online can you?

If you're selling on e bay take lots of photo's, from every angle, or a video showing you handling it. I sold a faulty lens, not badly broken a stuck aperture blade so fixable and 99% worked, buyer bought it without reading the description, admitted he didn't read the description and wanted his money back after it had already been posted. I refused as the item was EXACTLY as described/photographed, he then damaged the lens, claimed it wasn't fairly described, raised a case with e bay who sided with him as they always side with buyers, and I had to refund him and accept the vandalised lens back.

Ffordes will sell on commission, you get 80% of the selling price.
