BHP Show Lydden hill

You could easily get away with what you have now to be honest as you are really close but if you did want to hire a lens you would be best of with a 70-200 f4, no point in 2.8 as i doubt it will be that dark a day. I take 90% of my images at Lydden and when i was looking at a lens to buy i asked the track photographer what lens and he said a 70-200 is ample unles you want to get head on shots. Heres a handful of mine from this Sat. If you want to get shots of the cars in the paddock of which there is alot of different cars your 18-55 will be perfect as they are quite tightly packed in in a couple of areas.

I'll be there with Jap Performance parts (Walton Smith & Harry Sargeant), Harry is having his first outing as a drifter at only 12 years old so wishing him all the best.

If Matt from car travel comes through which shouldn't be a problem will have a media pass and the opportunity to shoot from the passenger seat of Walton Smiths car which should offer a different perspective for a shot :)

It'll be my first outing to Lyden Hill and can't wait :) was hoping to have a 70-200 to go with the 100-400 but monies missing from my salary won't allow the 2.8 IS so will have to wait....

It's his first event although from what I hear he is pretty good so should be a good show, he'll be in the S14 Nissan in jap performance parts livery (red, black and white). I'll be in an orange jacket, 7d with 100-400, can't be too many orange jackets out there lol :) swing by the nap performance parts stand and say hi :)
