We have rearranged things out at the feeding station, and added a new perch. Wish we had done it sooner as the birds love it, and it is providing me with some excellent opportunities!

Jo you really have an eye for the birds!

The Gold Finch is fantastic although perhaps slightly soft around the head. The isolated background is spot on and makes him jump out of the screen.

Thanks both of you I know what you mean about the Goldfinches head Gary, I think it moved slightly in the time between focusing and me taking the shot. I have to get used to the new perch and its positioning, so hopefully things will only get better

This has given me a plan. I think I need a few feeding tables to get a hope of ever capturing shots like this in my garden
