Melanistic is the term i believe and very few of these about..Shot in Scotland by any chance?

Hi Mark.
This was shot in Cornwall in an Owl Sanctuary. Apparantly, they are more common place in Northern Europe. The sanctuary donated a bird ( I've forgotton what bird it was now ) and received this as a thank you.
