Broken groynes from Selsey West Beach

Hi, lots of views and no replies...a bit disheartening.

I like groynes, they have character :)

You got down low which helped with the reflection. I don't mind the square crop.

Looks quite blue and the groynes are slightly out of focus.

Cheers.

i think it suffers from being a bit soft and the fact that its in between being a silhouette with an amazing sunset and being lit up and having loads of interesting detail in them, the half way house doesnt help keep the interest, these things usually scream out to have a minute or 2 exposure on them too HTH

Composition is good, getting down low helps interest

Was this a hand held shot? It looks a little grainy and soft which makes me think ISO and camera movement, but I might be wrong? You've got a good idea here, nicely composed and the reflection works well. I'd have gone for a slightly longer exposure to put a little more movement into the waves, but this would need a tripod. Not excessive but 0.3-0.5 sec would have added a little more interest.

The light isn't your friend here but I imagine at a more colourful time this could work well.
