I was thinking of heading to Cadwell Park, myself , this weekend. Is there any

problem getting in to watch a Track Day? I strictly take pics for a hobby and

do not mind paying to get in if I am going to get near the action, but do not

want to go in if I am not wanted there.

Track days you just turn up, no fee. Friday is an open pit lane whereas Saturday is session's. I'm at Mallory on Friday then Anglesey on Saturday.
 
There's also a trackday on the sunday, which ill be going to :)
Its only a 10 minute drive down the road for me.

As a local i go as much as i can and shoot every time but im wondering how do you get a ''media'' pass to get closer to the track? PM me if you like.

Search the forum. It's been asked many times.

In a nut shell you need to be media, and have a buyer for your photos, and have proof of this. I.e. a signed letter from the editor of a publication.

With track days you'll struggle to get trackside since the trackday operator wouldn't want you muscling in on their monopoly to sell photos to the punters there.

Very nice shots, i'm really wanting to go there soon, as a landscape togger i need experience before i do the BSB race in May.
