Hi, I'm looking at a good camera to use with a copy stand for digitising 35mm negatives. The camera would be left in situ with a macro lens attached.

My spec I think would be as follows:
Around 24MP
Fully articulating screen
Decent Macro lens

Suggestions welcome, if Nikon do an older camera that fits the bill even better as I have a Nikkor 105mm Micro lens already.

Thanks

Nice, but no use for what I want Andrew!

What have you got already for the Nikkor? It would adapt well on an A7, which is 24mp, full frame and can be had cheap.

> Fully articulating screen

Why not tether to laptop/iPad (or HDMI out)if it's something modern-ish? I find copying my 6x6 instax that the even larger screen makes things faster and more likely I'll spot problems/dust/etc.

I have a D5 which has no articulating screen and is too big or a Leica M which can't be activated to take pictures autimatically by the film scanner.

Sony sounds good.

I bought a second hand Nikon D5600 earlier this year. 24MP, fully articulated screen, live view with touch control.
I am pleased with it and it would seem to fit your needs
I think that the D5500 is similar spec but is probably cheaper
