I was at a car boot sale a while back and saw what I first thought was the objective lens from a microscope in a box with a few other bits and pieces. Since this is not something you might expect to see not screwed into the end of a microscope I picked it up and realised straight away that it was, in fact, a Nikkor lens. The fact that it had MACRO Nikkor 35mm F4.5 engraved on it kind of gave the game away. It also featured a blue line around the body. In the same box were 2 other lenses. One is a MACRO Nikkor 12cm F6.3 with a red line around it and the third is a MACRO Nikkor 65mm F4.5 with a yellow line. All three have a screw thread rather than the Nikon F-mount. In the same box were a couple of bellows and assorted adapters to enable the lenses to be attached to a modern camera body with the usual F-mount. The chap wanted £15 for the lot which I thought was either a bargain or, at least, reflected their worth. I mean, for 15 quid you can hardly go wrong.
Does anyone have any idea what these lenses were for. I'm guessing something pretty specialised.
Thanks in advance for any help
