Who cares? It's a fantastic buy at that price.:)

dont suppose that code works for washing machines?

Thats a great price and a lot of kit for very little money. makes adding a second body as a spare or to reduce lens swapping almost feasible. ;)

doesnt help my wachine machine though, that could no worky on them!

That's 80 off £800... there are other codes for other amounts...

I think I have a problem. I have a very strong urge to buy this even though I just bought the 350D and it's still sitting in the box. :nut:

I did look into ebay, unfortunately the going price on ebay doesn't seem to make it worth the trouble of buying the thing and putting it up for sale. :p

Anyway, here are the other Curry codes:

£20 off orders over £200 - use code 'XMAS20'
£40 off orders over £400 - use code 'XMAS40'
£60 off orders over £600 - use code 'XMAS60'
£80 off orders over £800 - use code 'XMAS80'
£100 off orders over £1000 - use code 'XMAS100'

I suspect Steve meant you to sell your 350D on eBay to help pay for the 20D :)

Oh. I never thought of that.

But I don't think I can justify a £600 camera. Let me learn how to use the 350D first. :D

A bargain however you look at it - also a great time of year for some people to take advantage of it.

I thought he meant get 5 cameras bought and make a killing on eBay... :laugh1:

ah i like the 10% off the £200 code, makes getting shot of Ex washing machine cost £2 instead of £22

This is only like £100 more than i payed for my 350d :(

Oh deary me.

That may be the case but you have to feel for those of us who bought the 20D's when they were first out. This baby used to cost £1299

I have given over worrying about the costs and how much they drop from what I might have paid. I have had almost 12months of use from my 20D, that to me is easily worth the difference in cost between then and now.

I've passed this info on to a mate who wants a 20D.

If this works as stated it is £15 cheaper than I paid for my 20D back in March.

</me waits>

Hmm. I guess I should put the disclaimer that anyone who follows my suggestion above will have to read all the terms and conditions relating to each and every single discount applied to make sure on their own that they can get the discount. Please don't blame me if something goes wrong. ;)

Cheers.

PS: I suggest printing out the Currys confirmation page as that's the only place it says "Paid by Mastercard". Although the receipt that is sent a couple days after the delivery of the item does contain the first 4 and last 4 numbers of your credit card, which should be sufficient to identify it as a Mastercard.

Haha, that's true :)

Does this work then ??

If you have to buy from Currys on a Mastercard to get your 10% - Do Egg do a Mastercard ??? mines VISA.

Yep, it's the new "money card" you have to apply for. Takes about a week to come through.
