Cape Verde Islands. Thoughts?

Thinking about having a winter break to the Cape Verde Islands but forewarned there's nothing to see of interest to a photographer. Is it that boring? Any views?
 
Just googled it to have a look. There seem to be sand dunes, volcanic landscapes, probably street photography. I imagine there are seabirds. I guess it depends how much you want photography to be part of the holiday and how much you are able/prepared to travel around the place.
 
Ideally all the above. Relaxing warmth but also some photographic interest. I have also Googled it but just thought I'd ask for any more detailed experiences. Don't just want to spend the whole holiday laying on a sun bed!
 
I'd do an image search and see what other people have shot there. At a guess, sunrises and sets could be good.
