Reposted with a title designed to attract more attention!

In Swan Walk yesterday evening the actors, including CBeebies Sarah Jane Honeywell as a fairy, braved the wet and windy weather to mingle with the Christmas shoppers so I turned up with my camera and asked some of them to pose. Time was running out but here's what I got:

I rather like these, but I would liked to have seen the subject away from the shelves and then a nice wide aperture to give a nice shallow DoF :thinking: if you have a 50/1.8 this would have been the time to use it, I know that's rubbish to say now as you've already taken them :bang: but maybe for the future.

I know it's probably wrong to say of a children's TV presenter, but she is genuinely beautiful :eek:

Thanks Tom, I went out with the 55-250 as I did not know I would be able to get her to pose for me; I was looking to get candid shots. It was approaching 7:00 and the shops were empty so they were all happy to pose just for me :) The lady from M&S wanted her in front of shop products.
