Celebrating The Jubilee

It is rather sad, to two complete opposites. For me quite a thought provoking shot. Well done

This is a great picture, but a truly sad sign of the times isn't it?

How can the world's fifth richest country still have homeless people living on the streets? :(

Thanks ... yes it's a quandary and not all want to be found homes.

It's a thought provoking picture and as a picture it's well taken.

I think there'll always be some homeless, all we can do is try and minimise the numbers doing what's depicted and give them the help they need if they want it. The reasons are many and varied and although "places" may exist not all want to take them and again there are many and varied reasons. That individual does look as if they need help and I hope some is forthcoming.

Thanks for commenting Alan. :)
Bristol has good facilities for looking after the homeless but not all want to fit into the arrangements provided ... some fear it, others just don't want that style of life.
There are opportunities to make card donations for the homeless at various points in the city, just touch your card against a card reader set into a window or a wall.
Similarly there are many charities, including mobile, that provide clothing, food and insulated tents etc.

It's the same here, there are places and groups offering help but some for several reasons stay out of the system.

As a picture, yours is well taken and if it raises awareness then it's job done. Imo. Thanks for posting.
