Chester Zoo - Jaguar

Visited Chester Zoo the other week and although it was cold and misty managed to get a fairly decent collection of shots. Still never 100% happy with the results, but having to use fairly high ISO for most of the day i don't think helped. One of my favourite shots of the day was this one of the Jaguar posing on a rock. Critique/advice always welcome

nice shot I went to Chester zoo but the jaguar didn't show was gutted amazing zoo though highly recommended

Lovely shot Adam - the Jaguar looks quite relaxed in that pose
- I like the fact it is looking out of the frame, but there is perhaps just a little too much dead space on the right - maybe a slightly different crop would work better?

A tighter crop would be better, as suggested above.

Lovely pose there and for me it doesn't need a crop ... what it does need IMO is a white balance adjustment as it has a yellow/green cast.

I'd definitely go more this way ... he looks pretty small to me in that photo and Napo is not a small cat

I did play around a bit with the white balance during PP but thought this would look the best. Will have another play though

Cool. I like that. I'd already cropped from the bottom left but thought it was good with the Jaguar staring out to the space in the right of the photo.
