I've been running an e-blag CIS system on my HP 7280 printer for about 8 months. This morning I noticed an ominous dark stain spreading beneath the printer. I don't know if the CIS system had caused the problem but the printhead was haemorrhaging black ink all over the bottom of the printer and onto the desk top.
The ink came off the desk top quite well but not quite so well off my hands.
The printer is now outside awaiting transport to the tip and I've just finished installing a shiny new 4 in 1 Samsung colour laser jobby.
