After dropping my son off for an hour or so, I decided to test the conditions at Lowestoft, specifically Claremont Pier.
Little disappointed the blue lights on the poles weren't illuminated, perhaps it was too early in the evening still.
Anyway, not too disappointed with the outcome, still struggle with PP sometimes though.

I do like the sky in this though, lovely clouds and subtle colour and also the sea looks lovely.

Lovely work, though there's a monster clarity / sharpening halo around high contrast edges and it may be optical illusion or the horizon might be a smidge off.

I did notice that halo along the top edge of the pier but for some reason its not present on my edited verison (usuall very careful with my sharpening technique) ???? Maybe something to do with flickr? And yes the horizon is very slightly off now you mention it!

Really beautiful image! the light looks fantastic and although I agree the horizon dips a little to the right, it didn't distract me from the image as a whole.
Love the moving sea, looks an ideal spot for long exposures .
