Last Saturday on the 12th of October, after weathering a rainstorm by the Second Severn Crossing at Avonmouth, I finally got a brief break in the clouds just after sunset. The sky was still bright, and I couldn’t spot the comet with my eyes, but when I reviewed the images later, I was thrilled to see it there! Given how wet the weather has been since, this may have been my only chance to capture this fleeting moment.

I realise this is probably nothing special but still quite nice to have at least this.

I'll be honest I was close to just driving off, but I thought I may as well breathe some fresh air and just take some shots of the bridge. It was nice to find it back at home

That's nice Me and my boy went to Weston as I was thinking the light pollution from Newport/Cardiff would be an issue. As it was, it wasn't dark enough for LP to be an issue anyway...

That's a cracking image without the comet. With it........ that really is a bit special.
