Comet A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) over Second Severn Crossing, Bristol, UK by Daugirdas Tomas Racys, on Flickr

Last Saturday on the 12th of October, after weathering a rainstorm by the Second Severn Crossing at Avonmouth, I finally got a brief break in the clouds just after sunset. The sky was still bright, and I couldn’t spot the comet with my eyes, but when I reviewed the images later, I was thrilled to see it there! Given how wet the weather has been since, this may have been my only chance to capture this fleeting moment.

I realise this is probably nothing special but still quite nice to have at least this.

Well done. I doubt many others got it . . .
I'll be honest I was close to just driving off, but I thought I may as well breathe some fresh air and just take some shots of the bridge. It was nice to find it back at home

That's nice :) Me and my boy went to Weston as I was thinking the light pollution from Newport/Cardiff would be an issue. As it was, it wasn't dark enough for LP to be an issue anyway... :ROFLMAO:
