Wild Couple of Bees and a Passenger (on one)

Noticed this poor bugger was carrying a mite of some sort. You can just see its @rse behind the bee's lug there

These were all taken with a Canon 5D Mark II, Canon MPE-65, between 1x and 2x magnification and the Sigma EM-140 Ringflash. For diffusion I just shove a couple of these inside the ring, either white, yellow or one of each (minus the legs obviously).http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Colour-...otography_Flash_Diffusers&hash=item564a281edf

Great set - definitely a mite on the bee. Harmless to the bee usually.

Brash as I like them up close & detailed with a lots of interest in the life of these critters such as the 'bug round the lug' - colours good as many would be tempted to shove the sats up but you've not

Thanks again John. I very hardly ever touch the Sats slider in any PP programmesI use. A slight boost in Vibrancy sometimes but if the camera and flash are set up right then Sats are rarely needed imo. They are all too easy to over-do.
