Couple of insects in flight

Tried my hand at insects in flight in the back garden, practising for some Dragonfly action later in the year (might be wishful thinking, but we've got to have some hope we'll be allowed out again!)

They're tricky creatures to photograph, especially the Bee Fly... not as clean as I'd like, but you've got to start somewhere! The hover was from the middle of the day - very bright so a little too much contrast.

The first obe is a beefly Bombylius major, the second is a hoverfly and looks like it is one of the early spring, furry Cheilosia - so maybe C. grossa.
