Cptnm's 52 - week 4 - morning light

I like the thinking - and as above, a product shot of the result would be nice too, maybe next time?

Think you've done well do get such a good capture of the biscuits!!
 Thank you!
Good alternative take on the theme. One we've not had yet (y)
Thank you, I don't know where the time went but still happy with the result

Nicely arranged shot. Maybe a 'before and after' would work, too?
Nice framing and good idea, wonder what they will be like when baked :)
Thank you all & extra thanks for the motivation - only 1 was a bit... crispy... but still very tasty

Week 2 - Cold

Chosen shot

Almost chosen shot

Happy & cold

One taken last Wednesday

Some good photos there.
Interesting to see your though process.
I think as posted, I would have gone with #4 because it has leading lines (and vignette) taking us to the people in the shot.
That said, I probably would have played with #3 to bring the light up as catching the puppy dog with 3 out of 4 paws in the air is quite a fun shot.

I like the robin. Which surprised me as normally a wildlife picture would not be my choice.

Nice set. I'm gonna chuck the camera club judge book out and go with the bang in the middle Robin :)

Good set Meg, think the last one is the pick of the bunch.
Recognise them as well :)

Your food shot is Megan, I'm glad your included the finished product as well!

I think that you chose the right cold shot...but I am a sucker for happy dog shots...just sayin'....

Lovely set - robin for me too. Who cares about time rules of thirds with such great subjects! I think the snow had fooled the meter a bit and they look a little under to me?

Nice shots for cold Megan. I love the Robin shot and the lat one too.

Thank you all! I was originally going to go with the robin (even saved it #1 in the folder :ROFLMAO: ) but had a last minute switch - maybe the robin would have been best to stick to after all!
The exposure/bang in the middle pics maybe could've been done a little better, but I will say it was cold haha

I like your chosen shot, but my fave would be the last one for the added human interest.

Great set for the theme. I like 'em all but I'll go with #4.
Thank you, I think #4 will definitely end up on a card for the pair this year, after playing with the lighting a little more!

Thank you, and I am too! I'm sure she'll get a few more features this year, not to worry :)

Week 3 - Graffiti
Well this week went quickly again and I definitely have a lot of commenting to catch up on!
A very simple shot this week, but I quite like it (and have definitely walked past this a few times without noticing it)

That's definitely different and very effective. The shallow dof really adds to it.

Thank you all!

And week 4- Morning Light
(although there wasn't much light... or mornings... this week! So the light from the coffee maker will have to do it)

I can definitely empathise! The coffee looks a little weak there though

Great eye, catching the graffiti rose. I like your morning light shot, it made me laugh.
