These are from our garden this afternoon. They were stacked in Helicon Focus from post focus videos captured hand-held with a Panasonic G9 and Olympus 60mm macro, and finished in Lightroom.

This one is a crop from the previous one.

This one was captured much closer in and not cropped much. Unlike the previous one, this flower was in a fairly awkward position to get at and there was a lot of hand shake, as can be seen here at Flickr. It isn't perfect, but I'm rather surprised it worked at all.

Them 1st 2 shots are amazing imo but as I will always say, all your photos are super with some fine detail showing.
Thanks Nick

Really good, have you considered putting with stock photo agencies for photos of stamen? A teacher could (possibly I am not a teacher) use these as examples for parts of flowers.

Amazing clarity Nick. Which version of Helicon are you using?

Thank you Danny, Graham, David and Andrew for your encouraging comments. This stacking business can be rather hit and miss, at least it can in my hands. I went out and tried another few subjects this afternoon, a couple of them pretty straight forward, but none of them turned out to work well enough to want to keep, even after some fairly tedious retouching. Don't understand why. Brought me right back down to earth.

David, no, I have never considered doing anything with a stock agency. Not really my sort of thing. :)

Andrew, Helicon Focus 7.0.2. It has to be version 7 in order to be able to use 6K videos as these use H.265 which earlier versions (and I believe a lot of other software products) don't support.
