Cromer Pier

Very nice David. What a fantastic looking pier. I love the black and white processing and the spray of the wave

Nice one Dave, bit breezy there then by the look of it.
Just put together a photobook (waited for a discount code from the Photo Show) from our 2018 breaks and good old Cromer pier was amongst them.
Think after Antwerp and Ghent you are retracing my steps, don't suppose you went to Berlin, Cologne or Paris too? :)

Thank you Ian. :)

Great image, that wave and spray make it!
Thanks, there were a few other versions taken before and after, but it was the timing of the wave and gust of wind making the spray that made this the one I chose.

Cheers Rich, not half as breezy as being on the top of Hunstanton cliffs the next day! A photo book is a great idea, though I think I will have to span it over a much longer period than just one year to get enough print worthy images!

No trips to Germany this year, but it's somewhere the wife wants to go to (I have been previously) and we are contemplating a driving tour of Europe next year so sure it will be on the list. We are going to France in November, close to Paris but not quite, I don't think Disney Land is going to give me the same kind of photos, not a big fan of fibreglass landscapes.

I normally get to Paris 2-4 times a year for work so hopefully will get back there at some point this year, but I also have some trips to Dubai and Lebanon looking likely, those are the ones I am looking forward to!

I like to put a yearly photobook together as a reminder of our trips, wouldn't say each photo is a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination.
Off to the Netherlands soon, staying in Rotterdam and visiting other locations by rail and tram from there.
Germany again later in the year, staying in Aachen, again using rail and bus to travel here and there
Hoping to squeeze a Paris long weekend in somewhere, we are amongst those who love that place.

Never been to the middle east, I have problems with heat and it triggers a rather unpleasant neurological condition.
My daughter is currently planning a trip to Antarctica, seems she might have inherited my travel bug and dislike of the heat.
Look forward to seeing more photos from your getaways, will leave with a small version of my Cromer pier photo (hope that's ok).
It was taken on a rather cold clear February evening before a fish and chip supper.

It's a good idea. I would like to print ore stuff, but have limited wall space to hang anything so a photo book would be a good idea, that's another little project to get started on. :)

I know my wife would like Paris, but at the same time I am pretty sure she wont like the average hotel, far too cramped for her tastes.

The middle east will be my first time, I am pretty sure I will only be venturing out in the evenings and keeping close to the air con during the day!

Nice photos of the pier entrance. We didn't get to have a good look around as we had grandparents with us that couldn't handle too long out in the wind, but we plan to return just ourselves at some pint and explore the place properly.
