Yes, great shot of the crow, an interesting wildlife picture. Lots of wildlife pictures are technically great and can be the result of hours of dedicated patience but don’t leave an impression on me, however your crow has caught my attention.

And as said by many, the low flying crow makes for a great picture

Thanks buddy, spotted them across the river and had the 100-400mm on the Lumix G9, so zoomed in from a distance.
Soon as I saw it I thought "yep that's the one for week 41."
 
As a child with my mum - out of my road, and down the hill to the high street, and just a little way along to the left, the florist. The old fashioned door bell went "ding-a-ling" as you entered, and that smell of cut stems and flower arrangements filled the nose.

I presume the building is as old as the pub across the road, from the 1600s. Inside the flower shop there is a wall/break from the ceiling with a huge old black beam that you walk under to get to the counter. I returned a few years ago and it smelt exactly the same, it was like a step back in time.

A real piece of Kempston history, and my own.

Week 45 Snappers.
Pleased with this one.
Priory Park, off the main walk there's a long narrow bush lined track with gaps to see onto the finger lakes either side.
The last afternoon warm light was lighting up the foreground but the back length of the track was in shadow.
I got Natalie to walk about 30 yards down into the sunlight area and zoomed in with the 100-400mm on the Pana G9 from the main path.

Both nice takes on the themes. Herons as a species are a lot more ancient than coins. :)
